Who we are - what we do

At Stevensons' we aim to supply you with the best quality and value for money products on the market today. From our traditional wooden toys and games, through Thomas the tank engine, collectable die-cast models to model railways this is the common theme.

Stevensons' is first and foremost a local shop - part of the local community - and as such we have always done our best to support, encourage and promote the work of all organisations and individuals seeking to improve social, economic and environmental wellbeing in Crook, Wear Valley and the wider County of Durham.

As you will see from our home page that day may not be far away (unless there is a dramatic upturn in business) so please use our shop while you can!

We will be sorry to leave Crook but we find we simply can't make a living from the shop and trade is actually slower now than it was a year ago. We really do wonder whether there is any future for small shops in small towns given the rapidly changing shopping habits of the nation . . .
